Food & Beverage

In food storage, a two-degree temperature variation isn't an HVAC problem — it's a food safety problem. Product gets rejected, shelf life gets cut, HACCP compliance gets questioned. And if the auditor finds temperature excursions your monitoring system didn't catch, you've got a bigger conversation on your hands. Standard commercial HVAC creates exactly the variations that food environments can't tolerate.

What food environments actually need

Strict zone control. Ambient, chilled, and frozen — often in the same facility. Each zone needs independent temperature management with no bleed between them. A system that handles one zone well and compromises the others isn't a solution.

Recovery after door openings. Distribution centres have constant dock door activity. Every opening dumps conditioned air and lets ambient air in. Your system needs to recover quickly enough that product temperature stays within specification — not five minutes later, not at the next control cycle, but immediately.

Humidity that's controlled, not tolerated. Condensation means mould. Mould means product loss and facility shutdown. In processing areas, humidity affects coating adhesion, drying times, and product consistency. Standard systems don't have the sensing or response speed to manage this.

The data trail HACCP demands. Continuous temperature and humidity logging. Automated alerts when conditions move outside permitted parameters. Reports that are ready for the auditor the moment they ask. Our remote monitoring delivers this as standard — not as an add-on.

How balanced air induction solves it

In large food storage facilities, Balanced JET Technology delivers what conventional systems can't — consistent temperature throughout the entire volume. No hot spots near doors, no cold spots at the far end. ±1.0°C, floor to ceiling, wall to wall.

The system compensates for door openings without overcooling adjacent zones. Recovery is immediate. Product stays within specification even during peak loading bay activity.

In processing areas, our bespoke design approach manages the specific thermal challenges — cooking process heat, extraction requirements, humidity control — designed around your operation rather than adapted from a general-purpose template.
