Automotive

An automotive plant is a dozen climates under one roof. The press shop generates heat the building has to shed; the assembly line needs stable comfort for people doing precise work at pace; and the paint and finishing environments punish any drift at all — a temperature swing during cure shows up in the finish, and the finish is the first thing the customer sees. One system averaging across all of it satisfies none of it. The plants that run well treat climate as a production parameter, because that's what it is.

±0.25°C control capabilityMore than 25 production installationsMulti-zone coordination

One roof, many climates

Every zone gets its own rules. Press, body, paint, trim and despatch each have their own thermal reality and their own tolerance for drift. Our advanced controls coordinate multiple zones from one system — each holding its own specification, none compromising its neighbours, with BMS integration and remote access so the plant sees everything in one place.

Precision where the product demands it. For paint and finishing environments, our control capability runs to ±0.25°C — the class of precision where temperature stops being a variable in the process. Where humidity enters the equation, temperature and humidity control manages both together, because relative humidity moves the moment temperature does.

Uniformity across the big volumes. In the large halls, balanced air distribution holds ±1.0°C across the whole space — no hot spots near the process heat, no cold zones at the despatch end.

Designed around the line, not the catalogue

Automotive facilities don't take generic answers, and we don't offer them. Our bespoke design process starts with the process map — where the heat loads are, where the people are, what each zone must hold — and calculates the system for that building. We've delivered more than 25 production-facility installations on exactly that discipline.

The company you'd be working with is the one behind the environments at Jaguar Land Rover production lines, Aston Martin, BMW and Red Bull Racing — covered in more depth on our manufacturing page.

Uptime is the specification

A climate failure in a paint environment isn't a comfort complaint — it's scrapped work. Planned preventative maintenance keeps the system at commissioned performance with quarterly inspections and annual service, scheduled around production rather than through it. The best climate system in a plant is the one nobody on the line ever has to think about.

Talk to an engineer

Tell us about the plant — the zones, the heat loads, the processes that can't tolerate drift. We'll come back with engineering, not a brochure. Call 0121 770 7466 or email sales@jetenvironmental.com.

Already have a system?

Whether we installed it or not, our maintenance team supports all major OEMs — planned preventative maintenance, 4-hour emergency response and remote monitoring.
