Advanced Controls & Monitoring

The control system determines whether your HVAC installation delivers precise environmental conditions or just approximate comfort. For facilities where temperature and humidity directly affect product quality, process efficiency, or regulatory compliance, advanced controls are essential.

Control capabilities

Precision temperature control. Standard thermostatic control delivers ±2–3°C accuracy at best. Our advanced control systems achieve ±0.5°C for general industrial applications, ±0.25°C for pharmaceutical and laboratory environments, and ±0.1°C for critical processes with appropriate equipment.

Humidity management. Humidity control requires more sophisticated sensing and control strategies than temperature alone. Our systems manage relative humidity to within ±3% RH for most applications, tighter tolerances where required.

Multi-zone coordination. Large facilities often have different environmental requirements in different areas. Our control systems manage multiple zones independently while optimising overall system efficiency.

BMS integration

Your HVAC system shouldn't operate in isolation. We integrate with existing Building Management Systems to provide centralised monitoring and control, alarm management and escalation, energy reporting and optimisation, and coordinated plant scheduling.

We work with all major BMS platforms including Trend, Honeywell, Siemens, and Schneider Electric.

Retrofit and upgrades

Older HVAC systems often have capable equipment let down by outdated controls. Retrofitting modern control systems can improve environmental accuracy significantly, reduce energy consumption 15-30%, add remote monitoring capability, and extend the useful life of existing equipment.

A controls upgrade often delivers better results than equipment replacement at a fraction of the cost.

Our approach

01

Requirements definition — what accuracy, what response time, what integration?

02

Sensor specification — appropriate sensors in appropriate locations

03

Control strategy — PID tuning, scheduling, optimisation algorithms

04

Interface design — user displays, BMS integration, remote access

05

Commissioning — performance verification against requirements

Why Jet Environmental

  • Precision temperature control to ±0.5°C (tighter tolerances available)
  • Humidity management within ±3% RH for most applications
  • Integration with all major BMS platforms (Trend, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider)
  • Retrofit upgrades can reduce energy consumption 15-30%
  • Remote monitoring and adjustment without site visits
