Why volume defeats conventional systems
Stratification scales with height. Warm air rises, and in a hangar-height building it rises a long way — the roof void cooks while floor level shivers. Destratification through designed air distribution recirculates that heat to the working zone, so you stop generating new heat to replace heat sitting far above the people who need it.
Distribution is the real problem, not capacity. Most oversized systems in big buildings aren't short of heat — they're short of reach. Air induction and distribution uses computer-calculated nozzles to throw conditioned air across the largest volumes, recruiting the room air to carry conditions to the far wall without ductwork strung through the airspace.
Anything at height is a liability. High-level fans and plant need platforms, access windows and shutdowns. Our systems keep the moving parts at floor level, where maintenance is a visit rather than an operation.
Proven at hangar scale
We've heated aircraft hangars — buildings where the main door replaces the entire climate in minutes and the system is designed for recovery as its normal condition. The same engineering has conditioned a full-size sports hall, where uniformity matters at floor level and nothing can intrude into the playing volume. Balanced JET Technology holds temperature within ±1.0°C across the whole space, whatever the volume — the aerospace-specific story is on our aerospace page.
Modelled before it's built
At this scale, a design error is expensive twice — once to install and once to correct. CFD performance modelling shows how the air will move through your specific building before anything is manufactured: where the throw reaches, where conditions hold, what happens when the doors open. You see the building work before you buy the system. In a hangar, that's not a luxury — it's the difference between engineering and hoping.
