Installing and fine tuning to your needs

Frost protection in warehouses is predominantly used to ensure the safe operation of fire sprinkler systems but may well be installed for product quality reasons.

Typically required to ensure the internal area of a warehouse stays at 5C degrees, the systems aren’t often called for to provide heat but using a nozzle air distribution method, Jet’s systems circulate heat created by internal heat gains to maintain an average above the required 5C; this makes them incredibly efficient.

Gas, DX and low-temperature hot water are all available as an option as a heat source. Heat pumps are an environmentally friendly approach, but system design has to be carefully thought through for this application as by default, when a frost protection system is required, it is the worst operating condition for a heat pump to start.

Consult the experts who have worked through the design constraints of heat pumps at low temperatures and installed many dependable systems throughout the UK and Ireland.
